Meet Your Home Birth Team

Lindsay and Jamie are Certified Professional Midwives licensed in the State of Arizona to provide prenatal, birth, and postpartum care for families who chose to birth at home. They have both spent time attending births in the birth center setting and at home, and are planning their second trip to work as volunteer midwives in a busy Haitian birth center in early 2018.

As the Home Birth Team for Willow Midwife Center, Lindsay and Jamie focus on fully involving their clients in all aspects of their pregnancy, birth, and postpartum recovery. They utilize evidence-based practices while providing considerate, individualized care. They respect their client’s choices and acknowledge that every pregnancy and birth is unique.

Outside of work, Lindsay enjoys photography, aerial acrobatics, and getting extra sleep. As a former chef, she still loves to cook for her friends and family when she isn’t catching babies. She lives in Phoenix with her three children, Emi, Jude, and Eden, and her cat Cosmo.

In her free time, Jamie enjoys reading, listening to records, and spending time outdoors. A fifth-generation Arizonan, she appreciates all the beautiful landscapes the state has to offer and likes to take road trips as often as possible. Jamie lives in Phoenix with her children, Jason and Olive, and her cats, Elvis and Carl Sagan Jr.
